How to Make a Motorized Skateboard

After skateboarding for a pretty decent amount of time, some skateboarders aren’t completely satisfied with it, and want to somehow increase their speed and performance. If that’s your case, then you need Motorized Skateboards. You might ask the question, “how do I make a motorized skateboard“?

First off, you need to buy a motorized skateboard kit. You can find motorized skateboard kits of different styles and colors. You have a few options when it comes to making a motorized skateboard. You can either make your own motorized skateboard, or you can buy a fully built kit that you can implement into your skateboard.

To find a fully built motorized skateboard kit, you can either check out your local skateboard shop, or check out websites such as eBay or Amazon. When you purchase your motorized skateboard kit, it should contain a belt, an engine, and pulleys for the wheels and the engine itself.

Now you have your motorized skateboard kit, and you’re asking yourself the question, “How do I make a motorized skateboard out of this?” First of all, get all the required tools that you need to make your motorized skateboard. You can start off by removing your back wheels and make sure it’s clean.

Place the pulley from your back wheels so it is in position directly over the engine, and make sure before you drill you measure two or three times just to make sure the measurement is correct. You want to drill holes in the back of your skateboard where you want to mount your new motorized engine.

Place the nuts and bolts in their designated places to attach your engine on the holes, and attach the back wheels that have belt pulleys on them and attach to the skateboard. Make sure you don’t strengthen the nuts for it would be easier if the belt went first.
